Google once said that it will take some 300 years to digitize the world's information.
Now that it's partnered with NASA -- to help get a man or woman on the moon within 15 years -- it's going to have to store all that data from the satellites.
That is about 1,000 million bits each day, an amount that can only be handled by 500 Gmail accounts, according to Peter Norvig, one of Google's scientists.
